Aluminium scaffolding is a lightweight access system made from high-strength aluminium alloy tubes and frames. The most common form is the mobile scaffold tower: a narrow or double-width tower with a working platform on top, a climbing ladder or internal access, and castor wheels at the base so one or two people can move it from one work spot to the next.
Compared with a steel scaffold, an aluminium tower is far lighter, does not rust and goes up in minutes without special tools. That makes it the first choice for maintenance, painting, electrical work, ceiling and facade repair, exterior cleaning and finishing jobs where the scaffold has to move often and floors have to stay undamaged.
Namo Scaffolding supplies standard towers in ten sizes, and we can configure custom heights for special needs. You can ask for a quote for rent or purchase, with delivery to your site.
Choose the height you need and send a quote request on WhatsApp. Every model below has lockable wheels, an anti-slip platform and a modular frame, and every card lists the real dimensions so you can compare before you ask.

Work out the height you must reach, then pick the tower whose platform sits about one metre below it. A person can safely reach up and work above the platform, so a 4.2 m tower with a 3.2 m platform is the right match for a ceiling at about 5 m.
If the height you need falls between two models, choose the taller one and use it with the right number of tiers. For heights beyond the standard range, or for stairways and bridges, ask for a custom configuration.
The reasons contractors keep coming back to aluminium towers are practical and easy to see on site.
Steel scaffolding is strong and suits heavy support work, while aluminium is lighter and quicker to move. Neither is better in every case, so the right choice depends on the job.
Aluminium wins when the scaffold must move often, when floors are finished or tiled, when work is indoors and when speed matters. It also avoids rust stains and the maintenance that steel needs in wet conditions. Steel wins when you need very tall structures, heavy loads or a fixed grid such as cuplock scaffolding for slabs, or H frame scaffolding for plaster and brickwork.
| Feature | Cuplock | H frame | Aluminium tower |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Slabs, shuttering, heavy support | Plaster, painting, brickwork | Maintenance, interiors, quick access |
| Set up | Modular, hammer-locked nodes | Quick, frame and cross brace | Fastest, 2 people, wheeled |
| Height | Very tall, project designed | Medium, stacked frames | 3 m to 13 m, standard models |
| Load | Heavy duty | Medium to heavy | Light to medium, 275 kg platform |
| Moves on site | No, fixed | No, fixed | Yes, lockable wheels |
Because they move easily and protect the floor, aluminium towers fit a wide range of sites. These are the work areas where we supply them most.

An aluminium tower is easy to use, but it still needs discipline. These rules keep the crew safe.

The rent for an aluminium tower depends on the model, the number of towers, the rental period and the delivery distance. Taller towers cost more than low ones, and a longer period usually gives a better monthly rate. If you buy, the cost also depends on the height and any custom configuration.
Tell us the working height, how many towers you need, and for how long. We reply with a written quote that lists each tower, the period and the delivery. For long projects, we can discuss a rental-to-purchase option.

Aluminium towers need little maintenance, but a few habits keep them safe. Check frames for dents, bends or cracks before every use, and do not use a damaged part. Keep castors clean and free to turn, and test the wheel locks. Keep pins, clips and platform latches complete, and do not replace them with makeshift parts.
Store towers dry, stacked flat and away from heavy items. Do not modify frames by drilling or welding. When you return a rented tower, make sure it is clean and complete, and count the parts with our team.
We offer standard towers of 3.2 m, 4.2 m, 5.2 m, 6.2 m, 7.2 m, 9.2 m, 10.2 m, 12.2 m and 13.2 m, plus a narrow tower. Custom heights from 2.5 m up to 18 m can be configured on request.
The standard platform is designed for up to 275 kg, uniformly distributed. This covers two workers with hand tools and light material. Never exceed the rated load.
Yes. Every tower has lockable castor wheels, so a small crew can move it. Always lock the wheels before climbing and move the tower only when it is empty.
Both options are available. Rent suits short and medium jobs, and purchase suits teams that use towers across many sites. Ask us for a quote for either.
No. Aluminium alloy forms a natural protective layer and does not rust, so it performs well in rain, humidity and industrial air.
A single width tower has a 0.75 m wide platform and fits tight spaces. A double width tower has a 1.35 m wide platform and gives more working room and stability.
